Mañana feliz, de vacaciones, todos en la cama grande, abrazados y cantando porque Maia, mi Maia, hoy cumple 10 años. Tiempo pasó, vida pasó y ella va creciendo tan hermosamente!
Desayunamos y compartimos la traducción de esta bella poesía de Lee Scott- Y aunque ella, Maia, ya no juegue con osos, espero poder, siempre, tomar un té, ruso e inglés, mirándole esos ojos mágicos.
TÉ PARA TRES
Ven y siéntate conmigo y tomaremos té
y hablaremos de cosas que fueron
y de cosas que van a ser,
de lugares a los que iremos
y de cosas que vamos a ver.
Sólo nosotras dos,
mi querida hija y yo.
Una mesita de madera,
con sillas para dos, no tres.
Claro que puedes traer a tu oso
y sentarlo en mi rodilla.
Ya no somos sólo nosotras,
ya veo, es un té para tres.
Mi querida hija, el destartalado oso y yo.
Los años pasaron y creciste,
enmarcada en mi memoria, todavía te veo.
Manos de querubín con hoyuelitos,
sosteniendo tacitas de marfil.
Tu brillante risa es la dueña del momento,
una cara de bebé llena de alegría,
que los ángeles salpican de polvo de estrellas.
Oh, precioso regalo que dios me dio!
Si vivo hasta los 100,
nunca seré más rica
que cuando compartía tu deslumbrante presencia
y, juntas, tomábamos té.
